The Q&A format prompts a deep exploration of your leadership mindset, as you step into the role of CEO. 1 – 30+ players. Honestly you can have as many players as you want. Everyone picks a card from the deck of 150 cards. Once you pick a card you read it out aloud and you respond to the card question or instruction. It’s that simple.
There are 150 cards in each box, giving you hours and hours of playtime. The game is designed to encourage discussion, so if everyone responds to each question, it can take many hours to play the game, depending on how many players you have. Also, you can expect some discussions to get deep, or serious, or be hilarious.
Yes, you can absolutely play this card game alone. Ask yourself each question on the card and think about how you would respond as CEO. Enjoy the journey of self discovery. It’s not everyday that you get to ask yourself questions that CEOs and leaders around the world have had to face in their businesses.
From age 10 and up. All the questions are child friendly, although some questions may be a bit more difficult to answer than others for younger children. In such cases, I recommend that the parents and family members help the child to think through how to answer the question, in order to help them start building their entrepreneurial CEO mindset.
While we can’t make any promises, one thing is certain, it will not hurt. Compare it to having practice questions before a big test. It should increase your chances of passing, though there are no guarantees. Having the chance to think about and gain some understanding of what it’s like to be a CEO from real-world scenarios is priceless. If you take this opportunity to heart, it can give you a significant advantage. Here’s something we can assure you: the amazing questions in this game are sourced from successful and highly respected business leaders and CEOs from all around the world. They believe that contemplating and discussing these questions will be a valuable asset on your journey to becoming a CEO.
Oh, good question! I can’t really say. Everyone reacts differently, so some questions may impact you more than most. For example, “Would you give up your pay to help an employee?” or “Would you relocate the business to save money and increase profits, but lose key staff?” are questions that may hit close to home for some.
Everyone! If you love fun interactive games, where discussion is key, strategy is required, empathy is revealed, learning is inevitable and leadership uncovered, then this is the game for you.
Chris Folayan, the inventor of the game, created “Ready Set CEO” as a fun way for individuals of all ages to learn how to become a CEO. He wanted to create a game that nurtures exceptional leaders by encouraging contemplation of business scenarios and fostering dialogue, well in advance of the players assuming leadership roles. The game enables the players of the game to have a sneak peak at just how complex business decisions really are and how far reaching the ramifications of these decisions can be. It sheds light on the intricate issues that business leaders face as they steer their companies to success. To ensure that the questions covered every possible aspect of business, Chris leveraged his extensive experience as a distinguished Serial Entrepreneur, award-winning author and he also reached out to his global network of successful CEOs and executives.
